Brand Safety protects advertisers’ reputation by preventing ad placements alongside inappropriate or undesirable content.
Digital Content Labels
Each website or app receives a content safety rating:
- DL-G – Suitable for all audiences
- DL-Y – Child-appropriate content
- DL-T – Suitable for teens and seniors
- DL-MA – Adult content only
- NONE-LABEL – Not yet classified
Targeting by these labels prevents your ads from appearing on undesirable content sources.
Sensitive Categories
Content themes that may negatively impact brand perception (emotionally charged, uncomfortable, etc.):
- ALCOHOL
- GAMBLING
- PROFANITY
- SEXUAL
- DOWNLOADS WAREZ
- NON-CATEGORY
- RELIGION
- SHOCKING
- DRUGS
- POLITICS
- SENSITIVE SOCIAL ISSUES
- TOBACCO
Targeting sensitive categories, combined with assigning a digital content label, allows you to avoid displaying ads on inappropriate resources. However, targeting cannot guarantee the complete exclusion of unsuitable resources due to the constant emergence of new sites and apps that may not be labeled promptly.
By default, these settings are not applied, and the system does not restrict advertising campaigns from participating in auctions. If you need to adjust targeting settings to enhance brand safety, you can contact your Account Manager.
